Sulphurs...

This past Sunday 04-29-2012 we hit the "Little J" for some Sulphur action.  This was the earliest I have personally fished this hatch on this river.  Last year we hit it around the 2nd week of May, the hatch had just started.  When we fished this past Sunday the bugs had already been hatching for almost a week.  With the warm spring our hatches are close to a month early.  The bugs were there in great numbers and had the fish looking up for a few hours.  The fish were a little more picky than I like, but we still caught fish and had a great time.  Above are a few photos of Andy, he has been helping instruct our Tuesday evening Fly Tying classes at (http://www.woodlandsworld.com/).  This was my first chance to fish with Andy and hope to get on the water again with him soon...
